William A. Ripploh age 84 of Minster, died Friday January 7, 2011. He was born August 13, 1926 in Minster, OH to the late August & Antoinette (Budde) Ripploh. On January 2, 1961 he married Gertrude E. Kelley in St. Marys, OH. She survives in Minster. He is also by children, Lois & Robert Dietz, Botkins, Paula & Mike McGowan, Minster, Ted & Jennifer Ripploh, Minster, Jeri Howard, Wapakoneta, Christine Diedrich, St. Marys, Joan & Eugene Schoenlein, Wapakoneta, Jane & Clyde Miller, Minster, Carol Diedrich, Minster, daughter-in-law Anna Diedrich, sister Irene Doenges, Minster, 24 Grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 1 great great child. He was preceded in death by son Jim Diedrich, son-in-law Michael Howard, and a grandchild. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster F.O.E. 1391 where he was past president numerous times. He was also a member of Minster American Legion, past president of Lake Loramie Improvement Association, coached K of C basketball for over 30 years, Cataract Fire Company. He served in the US Army during WWII, and was owner and operator of Ripploh Meat & Grocery and retired as Custodian for Minster Schools. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery, Minster. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Minster on Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM.
