William J. Rindler

William J. Rindler, age 64, of Rossburg, died on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.  Bill was born August 10, 1960, in Coldwater, to the late William H. “Sonny” & Benita (Broerman) Rindler.  On October 30, 1982, he married Christie (Gehron) Rindler.  Bill and Christie were married for over 42 years.  Bill is survived by his wife Christie, their three children, Kelli Simpkins of Jacksonville, FL, William D. Rindler of Troy, and Chad Rindler of Rossburg.  Also surviving Bill are his eight siblings, Denise Ahrns of Ft. Loramie, Randy & Deb Rindler of Troy, Curt & Patti Rindler of McCartyville, Karen & Frank Goffena of St. Marys, Tony & Sandy Rindler of Montezuma, Jacqui & Steve Lehmkuhl of Troy, Gina & Randall Lowe of Piqua, and Tom & Lisa Rindler of Tipp City, and in-laws, Mike & Christine Gehron of Vandalia, Deb Stewart of Rossburg, and Annette Shroyer of Willshire, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Louis Ahrns and Jack Stewart, as well as his father and mother-in-law, Willard & Karen Gehron.

Bill was a member of the North Star Fire Department and worked at IMS in Fort Loramie.  He had served as a past 4-H advisor.  Bill loved camping and enjoyed visiting and meeting people.  He will be remembered for his ornery antics, kind spirit, and his love for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, May 22, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.  A Celebration of Bill’s Life will follow at the St. Henry Legion.  Friends may call from 1:00 until the time of the service, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.  Memorial contributions may be made to the North Star Fire Department, or the American Cancer Association.  Condolences for the family may be expressed in person or online at hogenkampfh.com.
