William F. Donauer, age 91, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. He was born November 28, 1920 William F. Donauer, age 91, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. He was born November 28, 1920 in Minster, Ohio to the late Anton and Carrie (Sommers) Donauer. On June 10, 1950 he married Mary Kay (Werner) in Coldwater, Ohio and she died June 25, 2005. Bill is survived by four daughters, Cindy & Doug Kilgore of Croton, Ohio, Nancy & Walt Hartke of St. Henry, Terry & Dale Rutschilling of Coldwater and Linda & Jim Stocker of Dayton, eight grandchildren, two step grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a brother-in-law Bill & Lil Werner of Las Vegas, NV. He is preceded in death by three brothers, Bob & Elsie Donauer, James Donauer, Bernard Donauer and a sister in law Irene & Rich Woeste. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, where he sang in the church choir and was a mass server, Mercer County Elks Lodge, Eagles, Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, American Legion and V.F.W. all of Coldwater. He was a longtime member of the Memorial Park Board, a member of the US Navy serving during WWII and a former Community Hospital and Briawood Manor Volunteer. He was also the former owner of Home Bakery in Coldwater. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater Ohio. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater. Memorials may be directed to Coldwater Memorial Park.
