William E. Bollenbacher, age 92, of 201 Lincoln Dr. in Celina, Ohio passed away at 8:15 a.m. on Monday, February 14, 2011 at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater, Ohio. He was born on November 11, 1918 in Berne , Indiana to the late Peter and Mina (Tinkham) Bollenbacher. On Dec. 31, 1938 he married Mary Jane Luttman, who died on Oct. 13, 1987.

William is survived by: his Daughter Gloria & Kent Schindler of Berne, Indiana, Daughter-in-law Jean Bollenbacher of Rockford, 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his: son Jerry Bollenbacher two brothers Francis & Beatrice Bollenbacher, Albert & Marie Bollenbacher and three sisters Wilma & Jack Alt, Opal & Irvin Luginbill, Goldie & Roy Luginbill.

William retired from the Feed Mill in Berne, IN. and then worked for Unico and Reynolds & Reynolds of Celina. He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina, the Celina Eagles Lodge and the Mercer County Sportsman Association.

Funeral services will be at 10:30a.m. on Friday Feb. 18, 2011 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina with Rev. Donald Pletcher officiating, burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens . Friends may call from 2-4 &6-8p.m. on Thursday and 1 Hour before services on Friday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina. Condolences may be made at LHDfuneralhome.com.
