William "Bill" J. Wolters

William J. “Bill” Wolters age 57, of McCartyville, Ohio died on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Wilson Hospital, Sidney, Ohio. He was born on October 12, 1968 in St. Marys, Ohio to the late Elmer & Martha (Albers) Wolters. He married Angie Pleiman on August 18, 2001 in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville. She survives in McCartyville. He is also survived by children: Grant & fiancée Olivia Holt, McCartyville, Ethan & Troy all at home, siblings: Kathy & Bob Borges, Minster. Ron & Kay Wolters, McCartyville, Deb & Bill Meyer, Fort Loramie, Becky & Don Barhorst, Fort Loramie, Dennis & Kellee Wolters, McCartyville, in-laws Mike & Nancy Pleiman, McCartyville, sisters-in-law: Tracy & Todd Bertke, McCartyville, Lisa & Mike Pleiman, Fort Loramie, Kristina & Nate Pence, McCartyville and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law Sara Pleiman. Bill was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville and a 1987 graduate of Anna High School. He worked at Precision Strip in Minster and was a member of Knights of Columbus, McCartyville, Hog Roasters, and Minster F.O.E. #1391. He enjoyed camping, gardening and sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys, the Cincinnati Reds and NASCAR. He loved spending time with his children, nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, McCartyville, Ohio. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 3 to 7 PM and at SACRED HEART CHURCH on Thursday, July 16 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
