William A. Huber, age 72, of St. Henry, died Friday, September 26, 2014 at Mercer County Community Hospital. He was born July 30, 1942 in Coldwater, to the late Ralph & Dorothy (Laloge) Huber. He married Eileen (Steinlage) on September 21, 1968, and she survives in St. Henry. He is also survived by five children, Kevin & Danette Huber of Wendelin, Douglas Huber & Fianc Theresa Honorio of Oakton, Virginia, Denise & Matthew Hiatt of Houston, Sandra & Brian Siefring of Coldwater and Kurt Huber of Fairborn, seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Kaylee, Braden, Seth, Jack, Julia and Grace, two sisters, Ann & Lee Slouffman of Dayton and Mary Jane & Robert Braun of Coldwater, and in-laws, Ralph & Mary Steinlage of Dayton, Lester & MarJean Steinlage of Englewood, Doris & Ron Rindler of St. Henry, Roger Steinlage of Dayton, Bernice & Ken Koesters of Coldwater, Verna & Dan Ahlers of Coldwater, Dale & Joan Steinlage of New Carlisle, Betty & Vince Chase of Springfield, Sheryl Steinlage of Centerville and Karen & Roger Ranly of St. Henry. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Dan Steinlage. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, part of the original St. Henry Rescue Squad, was retired from GTE and worked part-time for Morning Fresh Superior Food and was a veteran of the US Army. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, September 30 at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Tuesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
