Wilbert E. Kemper

Wilbert E. Kemper age 91 of Maria Stein, Ohio died Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. He was born on Christmas Day in 1932 to the late Joseph & Catherine (Dahlinghaus) Kemper in Maria Stein, Ohio. He is survived by brothers & sister-in-law: Jerome & Bernadetta Kemper, Osgood, Joseph Kemper, Maria Stein, and 20 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers & sister: Werner & Viola Kemper, Linus & Georgia Kemper, Rita & William Baltes, infant Francis Kemper, sister-in-law Shirley Kemper and 3 nephews. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein and a veteran of the US Army from 1956 to 1957. Wilbert enjoyed playing cards, singles dances, but had a special love for farming and working the land with his brother Joe. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Monday, January 22, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein Burial with full military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home Minster from 1 to 3 pm on Sunday, January 21, 2024 and from 9 to 10 AM on Monday.
