Wayne M. Reiss age 91, of McCartyville died at 12:00 AM on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at The Pavilion in Sidney. He was born November 11, 1921 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Lawrence & the late Opal (Breeding) Reiss. He married Viola A. Watercutter on August 30, 1947 in McCartyville. She preceded him in death on March 31, 2002. He is survived by children Judy & Jon Blakley, Sidney, Thomas & Diane Reiss, McCartyville, Joan Reiss, Sidney, 6 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Eileen Kinwald, Sidney. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville. Was also a member of the V.F.W. Sidney & the American Legion Post #217 Sidney. He was retired form Baum Folder, Sidney. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 Monday October 7, 2013 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, with Rev. John Tonkin celebrant. Friends may call at the SACRED HEART CHURCH, McCartyville, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 6, and from 9:00 to 9:45 AM on Monday, October 7. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's Choice. Burial will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery with full military honors.
