Wayne P. Meyer, age 51, of Minster, Ohio, died 10:55 AM on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at his home after battling cancer. He was born April 16, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Kenneth & Alvera (Broerman) Meyer. On June 8, 1978 he married Annette Morsey in St. Augustine Church. She survives in Minster. He is also survived by children Angela Meyer, Columbus, Anthony Meyer, Columbus, Kathryn & Keith Muhlenkamp, Troy, Denise Meyer & fianc Chris Gigliotti, Perrysburg, sister Lois Jean Mescher, Sidney, brother Kenneth & Ginger Meyer, Piqua, brother-in-law, Edward OMeara, Dayton & sister-in-law Mary Kinsella, Piqua, grandchildren Chelsea & Claire Muhlenkamp. He was preceded in death by parents, step-father Walter Arling, sister Barbara OMeara, brother-in-law William Mescher. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, former member of the Van Buren Twp Fire Department, Minster-Jackson Twp Fire Department & Minster Area Life Squad, a member of Minster F.O.E. #1391. He was an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer and Lead Field Technician with Synerlink. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 AM on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery, Minster. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Minster on Friday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM.
