In her early years, Virginia pursued her passion for hairstyling and opened her first beauty salon in downtown Dayton at the age of 18. Virginia had a lifelong love of music, singing, and travel. She also found joy in tending to her many flowers and watching them bloom. In her later years, she enjoyed counted cross stitch, jigsaw puzzles, spending time with friends at the Russia Inn, and engaging in games and exercise at The Gathering Place. She never lost her competitive spirit and took great joy in completing the Wordle each day. She delighted in the days when she would complete the puzzle in less tries than any of her visitors. Above all, Virginia treasured the moments spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Virginia was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church. Her faith was an integral part of her life and provided her with strength and comfort.
The family would also like to acknowledge and thank our mother’s many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and caregivers who spent time visiting with her over the years. She was always so appreciative of the time you took to visit and loved making you laugh!
