Victoria Therese Clara Link departed this life at 4:40a.m. on Monday Nov. 5, 2012 at the Celina Manor Nursing Home in Celina. She was born at the family home, a farm on the corner of State Route 119 & 127 near Cassella, Ohio, to the late August & Anna (Lennartz) Link on June 26, 1927. Her Four years of High School were at the St. Clare Convent in Cincinnati, Ohio. Victoria received her Bachelor of Science degree, as a Sister of the poor of St. Francis, from the University of Dayton. Before this time, she entered the Convent in 1946, due to changes and health reasons, she received her dispensation from her vows in 1968. She returned home to live a single life and earn her way for the remainder of her earthly existence. She has seven brothers and one sister Meinrad & Catherine Leonard & Esther Link (Twins), August Link Jr., Roman & Carman Link , George & Nellie Link, Gustave & Betty Link, Dr. Edward & Anne Link, a sister Mary Ann & Wilfred "Willie" Klosterman, several Nieces & Nephews, many relatives and friends. Some have preceded her in death. Victoria thanks everyone for their kindness shown towards her while she lived on this earth. She ask the pardon of anyone that may have been hurt by her words or example. Jesus died on the cross for her sins. By offering Jesus Precious Blood up to the Heavenly Father, her stay in purgatory may be a short term. Her body will be cremated and intered in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina, Ohio. A Holy Mass will be offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Celina, Ohio on Saturday Nov. 17, 2012 at 10:00a.m. by Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S. and interment will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery. Prayers are requested for her Soul.
