Vernon L Ruley

Vernon L. Ruley age 84 of Minster, Ohio passed away surrounded by his family at 4:15 AM Friday, October 14, 2016 at Heritage Center, Minster, Ohio.  He was born on May 30, 1932 in Minster, Ohio to the late Cape & Luella (Steinecker) Ruley. On November 19, 1970 he married Bernadette Filburn and she survives in Minster.  He is also survived by two children: Lisa Ruley and friend Ralph Wolfe, New Bremen & Denice Hagens, Rockford, grandchildren: Sean Parlett Hagens  & Alexa Hagens. He also survived by brother: Mel Ruley, Minster.  He was preceded in death by son-in-law Chad Hagens brothers Harold, Richard, Norman & Donald: He was a veteran of the US army during Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster.  A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, Ohio with Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster on Wednesday from 12 PM until time of service.
