Vernis Glen Hanna, age 89, of 1311 Fairground Rd. in Celina, Ohio passed away at 8:05a.m. on Monday March 26, 2012 at the Celina Manor Nursing Home in Celina. He was born on February 28, 1923 in Darke County, Ohio to the late Garnet & Daisy (Norris) Hanna. On January 27, 1950 he married Martha Brown, who died September 4, 2011. Survivors include his sons & daughters-in-law Ray & Ruth Hanna, Paul & Phyllis Hanna , Dave & Deb Hanna, Mark & Patricia Hanna all of Celina, 10 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, brothers George & Linda Hanna of Celina, Dale & Dotty Hanna of Celina, sister Dorothy West of Celina. He was preceded in death by his brother Carl Hanna, Clifford Hanna and sister Virginia McGee Yohey, Mary Meeds and his grandson Nathan Hanna. He retired as an Automobile Mechanic for Kern's Chevy in Celina. Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Friday March 30, 2012 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Bruce Head and Rev. Tony Richmond officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8p.m. on Thursday and 1 hour before services at the funeral Home.
