Verna E. Gudorf age 87 of Minster, Ohio and Curtis Michigan died 5:00 PM Wednesday May 29, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton following a brief illness. She was born June 10, 1925 in Darke County to Michael and Emma (Sherman) Grillot and married December 27, 1944 in Albuquerque, NM to Virgil "Barney" Gudorf he died December 29, 2010. Verna is Survived by her Children Pat & Jeff Arnold of Libertyville, IL; Dale & Mary Ann Gudorf of Russia and Tammy & Mike Coheeof Sunbury, OH;. grandchildren Kevin & Cintia Gudorf, Indianapolis, IN, David & Sara Gudorf of Troy, Heather Gudorf and her husband Jesse Maleszewski of Centerville, Heidi & Adam Spearman of San Diego, Reid Gibson of Gahanna, OH, great grandchildren Julia, Emily & Laura Gudorf, step grandchildren Traci & Rob Sergent, Lewisburg, Tony Riddell Lewisburg, Tara & Ryan Kubik, Arcanum and Jared Cohee of Manhattan, NY and 6 Step Great Grandchildren. One Sister-in-law Betty Grillot of Newport, OH and four brother deceased Ernie Grilliot, Remy Grillot, Allen "Pete" Grillot and Norman Grillot. Verna was a member of St. Augustine Church in Minster and St. Timothy Church in Curtis, MI,.She Was a member of F O E 1391 Aux. of Minster, Senior Citizens of New Bremen and had been employed at Copeland Corp. in Sidney many years ago. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM Saturday June 1, 2013 at St. Augustine Church Rev. Rick Nieberding Celebrant. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens at a later date.
