Velma M. Magoteaux age 95 of Main St. Osgood, Ohio died on Thursday November 13, 2014 at her daughter Mary's House Grove City, Ohio. She was born on March 30, 1919 in Sharpsburg, Ohio to the late John & Mary (Bergman) Schlarman. She was married on July 15, 1942 in Osgood to Ralph E. Magoteaux . He preceded her in death on August 9, 1986. She is survived by children Marcia & David Muhlenkamp, Ft. Recovery, Janice & James Browning, Troy, deceased daughter Shirley & son-in-law Paul & Carol Fleck, Chickasaw, Mary & Michael Hall, Grove City, Karen & Edward (deceased) Bishop, Chandler, AZ, 20 grandchildren and 2 deceased, 52 great grandchildren, sisters Clara & Omer Brandewie, Osgood, Imelda Stucke, Osgood, Lois Wenning, Osgood, sister-in-law Betty Schlarman, North Star. She was preceded in death by brothers & sisters, Herb & June Schlarman, Hugo & Liz Schlarman, Rosella & Wilfred Tanner, Lucille & Bill Ketring, Roman Stucke, & Clete Wenning. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood and St. Barbara Ladies Sodality. She loved playing cards, bingo, puzzles, crosstitching and camping. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood with Rev. David Zink celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 17, 2014 and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 18, 2014.
