Treva I. Westerheide age 87 of 124 N. Frankfort St. Minster, Ohio died at 11:37 AM on Friday, September 21, 2012 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. She was born July 19, 1925 in Ft. Loramie, OH to the late Ralph & Irene (Walkup) Vogelsang. She married Allen F. Westerheide on June 16, 1945 in Florida. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1984. She is survived by children: Edward & Diana Westerheide, Ft. Loramie, OH, Ralph & Susan Westerheide, Minster, Jay & Krista Westerheide, New Bremen, Dan & Kathy Westerheide, Minster, & Jeff Westerheide, Chicago, daughter-in-law Susan Westerheide, Celina, 12 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren, sister Mary Jane & Richard Gushing, Ft. Loramie. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son Richard, brother Robert & Betty Vogelsang & sister Carol & Jim Berning. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, and an avid card player, bowler and Reds fan. She was retired from the Wooden Shoe. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday September 25, 2012 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, September 24 and from 9:00 to 9:30 AM on Tuesday September 25.
