Tony F. Golden, Age 65, formerly of Celina, passed away at 9:20a.m. Friday Oct. 7, 2011 at his residence in Tiffin, Ohio. He was born on Oct.1, 1946 to the late Fred & Florence (Spriggs) Golden. On April 22, 1972 he married Ann Nevergall, who resides in Tiffin, Ohio. Also surviving is his brother Daniel K. Golden of Flower Mound, TX, sister Rosie Ann & William O. King of Celina, mother-in-law Hope L. Nevergall, sister-in-law Karla & Bruce Fent of Rockford, brother-in-law Hal Nevergall of Celina and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law George Nevergall and sister-in-law Elaine Golden. Tony graduated from Celina Senior High School in 1964. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Business, majoring in Sales & Marketing from Bowling Green State University. He was a member of ROTC at Bowling Green State University. While a student at BGSU, he was a member of the Kiwanis Club. He was an active member of the Lions Club while living in Cleveland. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. For over fifteen years Tony served as a 4-H Advisor and Sports Shooting Instructor at Seneca County Junior 4-H Camp held at Kelley's Island. He taught at I.C. School in 1970. Tony was Independent Salesman representing the Troy Chemical Company located in Burton, Ohio. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday Oct. 15, 2011 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 2-4 &6-8p.m. on Friday Oct 14, 2011 and on Saturday before 9:30 a.m. at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina. Condolences may be made at LHDfuneralhome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County 4-H Advisory Council designated for 4-H Camp Scholarships and 4-H Milk Shake Stand renovations.A special service will be held in celebration of Tony's life on Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S.
