Thomas N. Travis

Thomas N. Travis age 82 of Sidney, Ohio formerly of Minster and Dayton, Ohio passed away at 6:14 AM on November 28, 2015 at LanePark Assisted Living, Sidney, Ohio. He was born on November 11, 1933 in Dayton Ohio to the late Elmer & Henreietta (Hogenkamp) Travis. He married Rita E. Davis on May 29, 1954 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Dayton, Ohio. She survives him and lives in Sidney, Ohio. He is also survived by children: Paula & Paul Wehner, Kettering, Ohio, Shari & Ken Merrill, Marrieta, GA, Tom & Tina Travis, New Bremen, Ohio, Therese & Jay Brown, Minster, Ohio, Joe & Heather Travis, Beavercreek, Ohio and John Paul & Lisa Travis, Washington Twp. Ohio, 21 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren, sister Marjorie Ditzel, Clayton, CA, and sister-in-law Joan Travis. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Edward Travis & sister Marilyn & James Thill. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. He was also a member of IBEW Local 82 for more than 60 years and an Apprenticeship Trustee. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 3, 2015 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 and from 9:00 to 9:30 AM on Thursday, December 3, 2015.
