Thomas C. Tompkins age 84 of 162 S. Lincoln St., Minster, Ohio, died Tuesday November 29, 2011 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. He was born April 5, 1927 in Shelby County to the late Charles T. & Hilda (Krebs) Tompkins. He married Norma Jean Larger on September 8, 1953 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie, Ohio. She survives in Minster, Ohio. He is also survived by daughter & son-in-law Elaine & Kent Frazier, Amelia, Ohio, granddaughter Hannah Frazier. He was preceded in death by brother & sisters Marie Small, Patricia McColloch, Edward Tompkins & Kathleen Tompkins. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Ohio, Minster Knights of Columbus, Minster F.O. E. 1391, New Bremen Rod & Gun Club and the Railroad Commission. He was a former employee at Stamco, and retired for the Tank Plant in Lima. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM Saturday, December 3, 2011 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Ohio with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, Ohio from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, December 2, 2011 and from 9 to 9:45 AM on Saturday December 3, 2011. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
