Thomas N. Oldiges

Thomas N. Oldiges age 84 of Minster, Ohio died Sunday, August 29, 2021 at his home in Minster following a short illness.  He was born June 23, 1937 in Minster to the late Edward & Margaret (Brunegraff) Oldiges.  He married Judith Handley Newland on May 27, 2000 in Newport, KY and she survives in Minster.  He is also survived by children: Linda & Mike Luebke, Bellefontaine, Lisa & Terry Griner, Minster, Theresa & Don Luebke, Ft. Loramie, Dan & Linda Oldiges, Carmel, IN, Matt & Krista Oldiges, Huntsville, Ohio, grandchildren: Jennifer Gorham, Kristy McKirahan, Katherine Luebke, Angie Schemmel, Jack Griner, Tony Luebke, Mark Luebke, Jayna Vossler, Sarah Magato, Laura Cardimen, Kurtis Oldiges, Jonathan Oldiges, Greg Oldiges, Ben Oldiges, Ethan Oldiges, Ady Oldiges, Aiden Oldiges, 21 great grandchildren and 2 on the way, brother James & Gail Oldiges, Bellefontaine.  He was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Anne, son Joseph, granddaughter Hazel Luebke,  brothers Robert Oldiges, along with Donald & Nancy Oldiges. Tom worked for MidMark for 30 years and was owner of Axis Corporation for 30 plus years.  He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, doing puzzles, spending time with grandchildren and family parities. A funeral ceremony will be held 10:00 AM on Friday, September 3, 2021 at St. Augustine Church, Minster with Rev. Deacon Roger Klosterman officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Everheart Hospice 230 W. Main St. Coldwater, OH 45828. Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster has been entrusted with the arrangements.
