Thomas P. Klingshirn, age 76, of 14884 St. Rt. 118, Burkettsville, Ohio, died on Saturday, July 07, 2012 in Petoskey, Michigan. He was born March 12, 1936 in Cranberry Prairie, Ohio to the late Emil & Martha (Olding) Klingshirn. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Hamman) in Burkettsville , Ohio, together 52 years. He is also survived by six children, Mary & Rick Moorman of Coldwater, Ohio, Paul & Sherry Klingshirn of Ft. Recovery, Ohio, Joe & Stephanie Klingshirn of Rossburg, Ohio, Robert 'Jake' & Amy Klingshirn of Ft. Recovery, Ohio, Tom Jr. & Sherri Klingshirn of Ft. Recovery, Ohio and Nancy & Mike Wood of Bradford, Ohio, 19 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Janet & Ed Uppenkamp of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Bonnie Gilmore and Connie Klosterman, both of North Star, Ohio. He is preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Dave & Marsha Klingshirn, a brother-in-law, Bob Klosterman, three infant siblings, Margie, Jim and Bob and a grandchild. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the founder/owner of Klingshirn & Sons Trucking, Inc. He was also a retired teamster and school bus driver for St. Henry Schools. He was a member of the Ft. Recovery American Legion and V.F.W. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 13, 2012 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, Ohio. Military rites will be conducted by the Ft. Recovery American Legion and V.F.W. following the services. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM.
