Thomas Keller

November 27, 1942 — August 19, 2025

Thomas H. Keller, 82, of New Knoxville, Ohio, passed away on August 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 27, 1942, in Celina, Ohio, to the late Aloys and Bernadette Keller.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Jaifei Chen Keller; his son, Benjamin Keller, and daughter-in-law, Nikiya; his cherished grandchildren, Miles and Vivienne; his brothers, James (Rose Ann) Keller and Daniel (Mary Ann) Keller; his grandniece, Emma Chen Keller; and his beloved dogs, Moa and Tuna.

Thomas lived a life rooted in service and connection. He received a Master of Divinity from Oblate School of Theology in May 1970 and a Master of Education from Xavier University in May 1972. In the 1970s, he devoted his time to volunteer programs supporting young men throughout the Midwest. From 1982 to 1997, he built a career in healthcare administration in Illinois, Indiana, and Kansas. He later joined United Airlines in sales, where he worked until his retirement in March 2008.

After retirement, Thomas remained active in pursuits that brought him joy and enriched the lives of others. He became a Certified Master Gardener with the State of Ohio and shared his passion for music as a talented singer and guitarist, he performed professionally at retirement centers as Texas T Entertainment until 2024.

He loved traveling with his wife, Jaifei, exploring both the United States and the world. He delighted in state fairs, barbecue gatherings, and—most of all—playing his guitar and singing for those he loved.

Thomas will be remembered for his generous spirit, devotion to family, and the joy he brought into every room through his music, warmth, and laughter.
