Thomas F. Hedrick, age 81, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. He was born August 24, 1931 in Celina, Ohio to the late Tillman & Emma (Pottkotter) Hedrick. On September 25, 1954 he married Kathryn (Stelzer), and she survives in Coldwater. He is also survived by five children, Ron & Rajean Hedrick of Celina, Dianne & Dave Smith of Celina, Linda & Mike Lippman of West Chester, Joe & Terri Hedrick of Elyria and Sue & Jim Kaup of Coldwater, 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, a sister, Mary Lou Hoyng of Coldwater, and in-laws, Roger & Evelyn Bechdolt, Bonnie Stelzer, Alice Dirksen, Bob & Eileen Stelzer, Tom & Pat Stelzer, Ken Stelzer and Ralph & Nicki Stelzer. He is preceded in death by a great-grandchild, a brother, James & LaVonne Hedrick, and in-laws, Don Hoyng, Arnold Stelzer, Al Dirksen and Judy Stelzer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, its Holy Name Society and the Coldwater American Legion. He worked at the former New Idea Plant in Coldwater and was a volunteer at Mercer Health Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater, Ohio. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater on Friday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
