Theodore "Ted" Seger

Theodore J. “Ted” Seger age 65 of Minster, Ohio, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.  He was born on April 23, 1959 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Jerome & Mary Ann (Dircksen) Seger.  He married Lois Schlarman on May 12, 1979 in Osgood and she survives in Minster.  He is also survived by children: Craig & Chelsea Seger, Toledo, Ohio, Jennifer & Paul Hayden, Anna, Ohio, Angela & Tyler Muhlenkamp, Portland, IN, Stacey & Tony Wilson, Fort Recovery, Ohio, grandchildren Hayden, Hadley & Valerie Seger, Gabriel Hayden, Owen, Liam, Reid, Aria Muhlenkamp, Everly, Mavis Wilson, brothers & sisters: Teresa & Jim Hamaker, Sidney, Doris Bilter, Oswego, IL, Connie & Bill Grillot, Versailles, Bonnie & Steve Brunson, McCartyville, Phyllis Collins, Minster, Laurie Seger, Minster, Tina & Ted Riethman, Minster. He was preceded in death by brother Vernon and brother-in-law Bruce Bilter. Ted was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and was president of the Ushers and a member of Minster K of C.  He retired from Nidec Minster Machine after 45 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cars and baseball.  He was proud of being from Minster and loved spending time with his children & grandchildren.  Everyone will miss his greeting “What’s new” and his goodbye “Anything else you want to tell me”.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Monday, March 17, 2025 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Ohio with burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, from 1 to 5 PM on Sunday, March 16, 2025 and from 9 to 9:30 AM on Monday, March 17, 2025.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Auglaize County Cancer Association.  Condolences may be left at www.hogenkampfh.com.
