Susan A. Wannemacher

Susan (Susie) A. Wannemacher, age 72 of Sidney passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at her home unexpectedly, but quietly in her sleep.  She was born August 18, 1950 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Melvin & Patricia (Frantz) Schulze.  She married Gerald Wannemacher on May 18, 1974 in Sidney at Holy Angels Catholic Church. He survives in Sidney.  She is survived by daughters: Emily & Travis Liening, Troy, Stacy & Clint Meyer, Anna, grandchildren Hannah & Owen Liening, Alivia & Ciara Meyer, brother Art Schulze, Sidney, in-laws: Trish Schulze, Sidney, Marcia & Dan Worthington, Anna, Dan & Donna Wannemacher, Anna.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Phil Schulze, and father & mother in-law Orville & Doris Wannemacher.  Susie was a 1969 graduate of Sidney High School.  She was employed by Copeland Corporation and retired after more than 30 years.  Susie enjoyed her retirement to the fullest and used her time to focus on her family, especially her grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed by those around her, particularly by her close relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.  Burial will follow in Pearl Cemetery, Sidney.  Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 and from 9:00 AM until time of service on Thursday.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Kidney Foundation.
