Susan Marie Huecker

Susan Marie Huecker, age 68, of McCartyville passed away at 12:10 on April 9, 2018 at her home in McCartyville. She was born in Sidney Ohio on March 28, 1950 to the late Robert F. & Florence M. (Redmond) Schwartz. On September 6, 1997 she married Larry L. Huecker in St. Remy Church, Russia, Ohio and he survives in McCartyville. She is also survived by her  daughter, Kate & Chris Boeke, Fort Loramie, grandchildren: Alex, Kiersten & Eli, brother Patrick J. & Barbara Schwartz, Bountiful, Utah, sisters: Kathy & David Miller, Versailles, Donna Schwartz, Centennial, CO, Diane & Colin Campbell, Littleton, Co and Coleen Schwartz, Provo, Utah, in-laws John & Marlene Huecker, Anna, Mary Jo & Lavern Poeppelman, Fort Loramie, Janet & Dennis Aselage, Sidney.  Susan was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, McCartyville and a religion teacher at church.  She also belonged to a couples bowling league, enjoyed golfing, fishing and gardening.  She worked for 23 years a beautician in Piqua at the Swirl and at BJ’s, for 15 years at Miami County Job & Family Services.  In  retirement she worked as a substitute teachers aide at Shelby Hills Early Childhood Center and at Visiting Angels. Knowing Larry for 45 years and married to him for 20 years she enjoyed spending time with him, their daughter, grandchildren and families.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, McCartyville with Rev. Steven Mondiek, Celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster on Thursday, April 12 from 3 to 8 pm and at SACRED HEART CHURCH on Friday from 10:30 to 11:30am.   In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
