Steven A. Trzaska age 49 of Minster, Ohio died on Sunday, February 15, 2015 following an accident at his family farm. He was born on April 5, 1965 in Kettering, Ohio to Theodore & Theresa (Karpinski) Trzaska. They both survive in Dayton. He married Bonnie Schmiesing on August 24, 1991 in St. Anthony Catholic Church, Dayton. She survives in Minster. He is also survived by children: Ted, Joe, Jenny, Phil, Jim & Beth all at home, brothers & sisters, Tom & Mary Elizabeth Trzaska, Muskegon, MI, Cathy Trzaska, Oakwood, OH, Mary & Austin Welsh, Overland Park, KS , Ann & Mike Moell, Centerville, OH, Anthony & Lois Trzaska, Carmel, IN, Michael Trzaska, Kettering, OH, father-in-law, John J. Schmiesing, in-laws: Sam & Jane Schmiesing, New Bremen, Sue McDaniel, New Bremen, Phil & Robin Schmiesing, Enterprise, AL, Ken & Kathy Schmiesing, Hicksville, OH, Mary & Mark Bornhorst, Minster, OH, Dorothy & Steve Bruns, Minster, OH, Therese & Rod Smith, Phoenix, AZ, Charlie & Kathy Schmiesing, Columbus Grove, OH, John & Jamie Schmiesing, Minster, OH, Gary & Courtney Silver, Eureka, CA, Martha & Steve Bohman, New Albany, OH and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by mother-in-law Alice J. Schmiesing. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, and Minster American Legion. He graduated from Centerville High School in 1983 and from Wright State in 1990. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a firefighter/paramedic for the City of Huber Heights for 18 ½ years and worked at the Bicycle Museum of America, New Bremen, Ohio. Steve had loved reading, riding his bike and spending time outdoors with his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February, 20, 2015 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial with full military honors by the Minster Firing Squad will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 19, 2015 and from 9:00 to 9:30 AM on Friday, February 20, 2015.
