Steven F. Grimes , age 58 of 810 Greenbriar Ct. Celina, Ohio passed away at 3:47p.m. on Monday Oct. 22, 2012 at home. He was born on July 8, 1954 in Celina, Ohio to Donald H. & Martha L. (Ludwig) Grimes. On May 7, 1977 he married Kathryn "Kay" Cron, who lives in Celina. Also surviving is his mother Martha (Ludwig) Grimes of Ft. Wayne,IN., sons & daughter-in-law Curtis & Allison (Davis) Grimes of Columbus, Aaron Grimes of Columbus, daughter and son-in-law Rebecca & Steven Posada of Celina, a grandson Preston S. Posada, brother Michael Grimes of Ft. Wayne, IN., sisters & brother-in-law Kathy & Chris Porch of Atlanta, Ga., Kristy Grimes of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his father Donald H. Grimes. Steven graduated from Celina High School with the class of 1972. He was formerly employed as a manager at the Empire Restaurant in Celina for 12 years, he then worked for the TuWay American Group in Rockford for 15 yrs and most recently was employed at Four-U-Packaging & Supplies in Celina. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Sons of the American Legion Post #210, V.F.W. Post #5713, Moose Lodge, and the Eagles all of Celina. He was the Adjutant for the Celina Sons of the American Legion Post #210 and he was part of the Chain Gang for the Celina High School Football program for years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30a.m. on Thursday Oct 25, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S. officiating. Friends may call from 2-8p.m. on Wednesday Oct. 24, 2012 and before 10:00a.m. on Thursday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home.
