Stella P. Evers age 89 of 7097 Ft. Recovery-Minster Rd., Maria Stein, Ohio died at 6:30 AM on Saturday July 21, 2012 at her home. She was born June 6, 1923 in McCartyville, to the late Bernard & Mary (Hoying) Pleiman. She married Gregor B. Evers on September 7, 1949 in McCartyville. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2005. She is survived by children; Willard & Ellen Evers, Maria Stein, Ann Evers Kettering, Ohio, Elaine Evers, Maria Stein, Roger & Mary Lou Evers, Maria Stein; 9 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren, sister Norma Puthoff, Ft. Loramie, sister-in-laws Sally Pleiman, McCartyville, Eileen Pleiman, Osgood. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers & sisters, Henry, Albin, Leonard, Ann Henry, Corrine Bornhorst, Sylvester, Bernard & Jerome. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, the ladies Sodality of the Church and a former member of St. Rose Choir. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at St. Rose Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Brenberger and Rev. Ken Pleiman Con-Celebrants and assisted by Deacon Greg Bornhorst. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 2 to 8 PM on Tuesday and from 9 to 10 AM on Wednesday. Burial will take place in St. Rosa Cemetery.
