Shirley A. Seger, age 76 formerly of Ft. Loramie, Ohio died on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Elmwood of New Bremen where she was a resident for 3 years. She was born on November 27, 1937 in Minster, Ohio to the late Charles & Henrietta (Schwartz) Wente. She was married on November 22, 1956 in New Bremen, Ohio to Walter W. Seger, who preceded her in death on September 24, 2003. She is survived by children: Brenda & Jack Hoying, Ft. Loramie, Ohio, Tony & Pam Seger, Liberty Twp., Ohio, Steve & Karen Seger, Houston, Ohio, Gail & Randy Wendel, Osgood, Ohio, Aaron & Missy Seger, Russia, Ohio, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brothers & sisters Janice & Dick Ahrns, Minster, Marilyn Winner, Osgood, Tom & Joyce Wente, Minster, Denny & Leah Wente, New Bremen, Connie Will, New Bremen, Ted & Ann Wente, Monroe, MI, sister-in-law Bertie Wente, Seger in-laws: Vera Schwartz, Ft. Loramie, Velma & Jack Friemering, Celina, Evelyn Seger, Ft. Loramie. She was preceded in death by brothers & sister: Dolores Bentz, Robert Wente & in-laws Dennis Winner & Mike Will and the Seger in-laws Rita & Tom Zavislan, Cy Seger & Tom Schwartz. She was a member of St, Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie, Ohio, the American Legion Auxillary, Ft. Loramie, Minster F.O.E. #1391, and the Sidney Community Action Commission. She was an area Real Estate Agent and retired Ft. Loramie School Bus Driver. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie, with Rev. Steven Shoup, celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 7 PM on Friday, November 28, 2014 and from 9 to 10 AM on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
