Sara Beth Pleiman

Sara Beth Pleiman, age 44, of Wapakoneta, Ohio, formerly of McCartyville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at her home. She was born on March 13, 1981 in St. Marys, Ohio to Michael & Nancy (Wente) Pleiman. Her parents survive in McCartyville. She is also survived by her sisters: Tracy & Todd Bertke, McCartyville, Lisa & Mike Pleiman, Ft. Loramie, Angie & Bill Wolters, McCartyville, Kristina & Nathan Pence, McCartyville, nieces & nephews: Alex & Emma Bertke, Emily & Spencer Homan, Ashley Bertke & fiancé Robert Buschur, Connor Bertke, Rachel Bertke, Kyle & Lauren Pleiman, their son Carter, Nick Pleiman & fiancée Audrey Stickel, Kevin Pleiman, Carson Pleiman, Grant Wolters, Ethan Wolters, Troy Wolters, Eli Pence, Kayla Pence, Mason Pence, Hazel Pence, Asher Pence, Gianna Pence, Lilyann Pence, numerous Aunts, Uncles and lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and special pet dog Tess. Sara was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta and former member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville. She worked at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and loved to travel and lived in Nashville for 10 years and made many close friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Monday, November 17, 2025 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, on Sunday, November 16, 2025 from 1 to 4 PM and on Monday, November 17 at SACRED HEART CHURCH, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
