Samuel H. Evers, age 61, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at his home. He was born August 15, 1951 in Celina, Ohio, to the late Roman & Mildred (Arling) Evers. He is survived by two children, Aaron & Erica Evers of West Carrollton and Ashley Evers of Coldwater, brothers and sisters, Patricia & Jim Koester of Springboro, Ken Evers of Bryant, Indiana, Bill Evers of St. Henry, Sharon & Dale Uhlenhake of St. Henry, Mike & Ann Evers of St. Henry, Joyce & Steve Johnsman of Coldwater, Frank & Tammy Evers of St. Henry, Nick & Pam Evers of New Bremen, Diann & Greg Kopilec of Louisville, Kentucky and Randy & Janet Evers of St. Henry, the mother of his children Susan Hess of Coldwater and a sister-in-law Rose Evers of St. Henry. He was also preceded in death by a brother Ron Evers. He was a Veteran of the Ohio National Guard and member of the V.F.W., American Legion and Eagles all in Coldwater, The mercer County Elks Lodge and Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Sam was formerly a welder at Midmark in Versailles and currently worked for several area car dealers and at McSobers Saloon in Coldwater. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio. Burial with military rites will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
