Ruth A. Holscher age 84 of Osgood, Ohio died on Monday June 9, 2014 at her residence. She was born January 28, 1930 in Osgood, Ohio to the late Leo & Minnie (Henry) Bruns. She married Alfred Holscher on August 8, 1951 in Osgood. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1997. She is survived by her 2 children Alvin ( LuAnn Holscher), West Carrolton, Ohio and Rebecca (Michael) Busse, Russia, Ohio, grandchildren Mike (Kim) Busse, Ft. Loramie, Allysia Busse ( Renee Hinkle) New Lebanon, Kenneth Terrell, Shane Terrell, Mark Holscher, Michael Holscher all of West Carrolton, Ohio, great grandchildren Rosalie, Shea, Samuel, Kylie & Auron, brothers & sisters Roberta Herrcutt, Inverness, FL, Barbara ( Ralph) Homan, Inverness, FL, Patricia (Werner) Wendel, Ft. Recovery, Doug ( Louise) Bruns, Greenville, Wanda ( Marvin) Keiser, New Weston, sister-in-law Velma Bruns, Dayton and brother-in-law George Muether, Celina. She was preceded in death by brothers & sisters Annette Sanders, Bill Bruns, Paul Bruns, Louie Bruns, Pauline Wale, Esther Muether & John Bruns. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood and St. Barbara Ladies Sodality. She was also a member of the Osgood American Legion Auxilary and Minster F.O.E. #1391. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Friday June 13, 2014 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Rev. David Zink Celebrant, burial will follow at the St. Martin Cemetery, Osgood, Ohio. Friends may call from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday and 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home Minster. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Osgood Life Squad.
