Ruth A. Grieshop

Ruth A. Grieshop , age 81, of Coldwater, Ohio , died on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater . She was born April 13, 1935, in Celina to the late Henry F. & Lucina (Rammel) Art. On August 7, 1954, she married Robert J. Grieshop and he died December 3, 2011. She is survived by children: Viki & Ben Dues of Coldwater, Ohio, Kurt & Wendy Grieshop of Coldwater, Ohio, Lory & Nick Pappas of Noblesville, Indiana, Doug & Deb Grieshop of Coldwater, Ohio, Keith & Shelley Grieshop of Coldwater, Ohio, Angela & Jim McGowan of Ft. Loramie, Ohio, and Robert K. & Jennifer Grieshop of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania; a daughter-in-law, Tammy & Conrad Bettinger of Coldwater, Ohio, 28 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; siblings, Catherine Birley of New Mexico, Bob Art of Columbus, Leroy Art of Ft. Wayne, Ralph & Carol Art of Hicksville, Clara Forsthoefel of Coldwater, Jeannie & Denny Gebele of Arizona and Jim & Nancy Art of Ft. Wayne; and in laws, Irene Art of Lima and Ronald Grieshop of Coldwater, Ohio . She is preceded in death by children, Dean Grieshop and Patrice Grieshop; siblings, John Art, Mary & Dale Hundley, and in laws Gene Birley, Mary Jo Art, Pat Art, Jim Forsthoefel and Robyn Grieshop . She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, St. Ann’s Rosary Altar Sodality, The Red Hat Society and a longtime CCD teacher. Ruth lived a very faith-filled life, was a loving housewife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and avid gardener. M ass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church , Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery , Coldwater. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater from 2 to 7 PM on Friday and from 9 to 10 AM on Saturday. Memorials may be directed to State of the Heart Care .
