Rosella M. Braun, age 90, of Celina, died on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at her home. She was born July 16, 1923 in Fremont, Ohio to the late Adolph & Catherine (Spoltman) Roessner. She married Paul J. Braun on June 19, 1946 and he died December 28, 1990. She is survived by five children, Kathleen Wolfe of Celina, Robert (Mary Jane) Braun of Coldwater, Marc Braun of Union City, Barbara (Mike) Byerley of Middleburg, Florida and Janeen Braun of Celina, five grandchildren Timothy, Michael, Melissa, Joseph and Greg, three great grandchildren Randi, Thomas and Austin. She is also preceded in death by a son in law David Wolfe and a brother and spouse Arthur (Kate) Roessner and a Grandson Tommy Wolfe. Rosella graduated from St. Rita's school of nursing in 1944 and worked at St. Rita's in Lima, Gibbons Hospital in Celina, several nursing homes and provided private care. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Celina, the ladies rosary altar sodality, the resurrection choir, member of St. Vincent de Paul Society, and helped clean the Sacristy when her health permitted. She also belonged to the Sunshine Singers and volunteered for Our Home Family Resource Center/Help Me Grow. Rosella prayed the rosary daily for the increase of vocations. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina. Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday from 9 AM to 10 AM at the Lehman Hogenkamp Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina. Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Hospice, 230 W.
