Rose B. Kohne age 96 Formerly of Wooden Shoe Dr. Minster, Ohio Died Saturday February 19, 2011 at Otterbein St. Marys where she had been a resident for 12 years. She was born May 10, 1914 in Maria Stein, Ohio to John and Regina(Braun)Meinerding and married on May 10, 1941 to August Kohne he died March 24, 1984. She is survived by her Children Becky and Richard Poeppelman of Ft. Loramie, Daniel and Vicki Kohne of Lyndon Station, WI and Richard Kohne of St. Marys, 9 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by a son Robert Kohne. She is also survived by a sister, Sister Regina Meinerding of St. Charles, MO and 2 sisters-in-law Marie Meinerding of Ft. Loramie and Rita Meinerding of St. Marys. One sister Alvira Braun and three brothers Wes, Ivo and Ralph Meinerding preceeded her in death. Rose was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church Minster, a past member of the St. Monica Ladies Sodality and The Catholic Ladies of Columbia of the church. She was a member of the FOE 1391 Ladies Aux. of Minster and retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber of St. St. Marys after 20 Years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday at St. Augustine Church, Rev. Rick Nieberding Presiding burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM Tuesday and 9:00 AM till 9:30 AM Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster. Memorial Donations may be made to Grand Lake Hospice.
