Rose Esser

Rose E. Esser, age 87, of Sidney, Ohio, died on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Heritage Center, Minster, Ohio. She was born on July 5, 1938 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Raymond E & Marcella (Magoto) Bey. She married Fred Esser on December 29, 1956 and he preceded her in death on October 18, 2007. She is survived by children: John Esser, Sidney, Randy & Amy Esser, Anna, Doug & Jenny Esser, Sidney, deceased infant Kenneth Esser, Jeannie & Ron Bergman, Botkins, Sandy & Curt Wells, Anna, Karen & Steve Zimmerman, Fort Loramie, Steve & Diane Esser, Anna, Anita Esser, Botkins Larry & Virginia Esser, Fort Loramie, 26 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by siblings: Lucille Holland, Raymond N. Bey, Louedna Merrick, Teresa Stone, Ed Bey, Robert Bey. Rose was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville. She loved playing BINGO, knitting, crocheting, and baking. She hand wrote 27 cookbooks for her family. She worked at a dry cleaner in Sidney before her marriage and becoming a mother and home maker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
