Rosanna "Rosie" Franz, age 81 of Celina, Ohio and formerly of Henryville, Indiana, went to be with her Lord and Savior, with her daughter at her side, at 11:20p.m. on Monday March 17, 2014 at The Gardens in Celina. She was born on Aug 9, 1932 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Jesse & Naomi (Ruddell) Beatty. On May 24, 1951 she married Loren D. Franz, who died in 2000. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law Vince & Jill Franz of Celina, Pastor L. Brent & Linda Franz of Henryville, IN, daughter Loranna Snyder of Westfield, IN, grandchildren Lynsey & Jonathan Worthington, Brent Austin Franz, Kelsea Boone, Wesley Boone, Marissa Franz, Makenzi Franz, great grandchildren Isabella Ryan, Anya Worthington, Lydia Worthington, Daniel Mobley, sister Louise Gannon of Florida

Rosanna was preceded in death by her son Alan Lynn Franz, son-in-law John Snyder, and her brother-in-law James Gannon.

She was a member of the Henryville United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women in Henryville, Indiana. Rosanna attended the Covenant Community Church in Coldwater, Ohio. She played the piano from the time she graduated, until two years ago at her church.

A memorial gathering will be held from 5 " 7p.m. on Friday March 21, 2014 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00a.m. on Monday March 24, 2014 at the Henryville United Methodist Church in Henryville, IN, with Rev. Gary Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Henryville, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Henryville United Methodist Church or State of the Heart Home Health & Hospice.
