Ronald F. Homan, age 74 of Coldwater died Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. He was born on February 23, 1942 in St. Sebastian, Ohio to the late Joseph & Viola (Kremer) Homan. On July 9, 1966 he married Maryann P. (Snider). He is survived by children: Michele & David Tucker of Berrien Springs, MI, Michael & Gina Homan of Coldwater, Jeff & Andrea Homan of Toledo; four grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob, Calissa, Allison; two step grandchildren Hailey, Cody; and one step great granddaughter Kristina; siblings, Diana (Carl) DeMange of Versailles, Judy Link of Fountain Hills, Arizona, Lucy (Dr. David) Poeppelman of Ottawa, Leon (Kathy) Homan of New Bremen, David Homan of Chandler, Arizona, Helen (Dennis) Schattel of Bloomington, Indiana, Terese Knapik of Fountain Hills, Arizona, Marlene (Rick) Brunswick of Forest, Dr. Joseph (Nancy) Homan of Park City, Utah, Lisa (Mark) Seitz of Maria Stein, Ann (Craig) Nesbit of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Tim (Brenda) Homan of Horton, Kansas. He is preceded in death by siblings, Virgil Homan, Rose Ann Homan and Martin Homan and in-laws, Tom Link and Michael Knapik. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the men’s holy name of the church. He served in the Ohio National Guard. Ron worked at the former New Idea Plant in Coldwater and Lefeld Implement. He enjoyed playing cards and his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Friends may call from 1 to 5 PM Sunday and 9 to 10 am Monday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. The family requests that donations be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in Ron’s name.
