Robert L. Shockney

Robert L. Shockney, age 74, of Coldwater, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born August 14, 1940 in Bakers Corner, Ohio to the late Ralph & Sarah (Paul) Shockney. He married Kathleen A. (Meehan) on December 29, 1978, and she survives in Coldwater. He is also survived by four children, Tim & Chris Cool of Miamisburg, John Shockney of Elyria, Tami & Kelly Bowlby of Celina and Tony Shockney of Versailles, seven grandchildren, a brother, Richard & Kay Shockney of Dayton and a sister-in-law, Sue & Charlie Meyer of Versailles. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and enjoyed history, gardening and fishing. He worked at the former New Idea, Coldwater and Cheryl Ann Programs, Celina. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
