Rita Mary Wannemacher, age 90, of Coldwater OH, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, March 05, 2012 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. She was born July 09, 1921 in St. Sebastian, Ohio to the late Edward and Eleonora (Kramer) Schwieterman. On September 10, 1947 she married Roman Wannemacher in Burkettsville, Ohio and he died April 28, 1968. Rita is survived by four daughters and their husbands, Lin & Carlan Silha of Spokane, WA, Barb & Ajax Daugherty of Plano, TX, Carol & Dan Harlamert of Coldwater, Ohio, Jan & Nick Gaerke of Centerville, Ohio, a son and his wife Jim & Vicki Wannemacher of Middletown, Ohio, a son Rick Wannemacher of Lubbock, TX, six grandchildren, Ryan and his wife Serena Wannemacher of LaPorte, TX, Adam and his wife Erin Wannemacher of Middletown, Ohio, Stefan Wannemacher of Middletown, Ohio, Tony Harlamert of Coldwater, Ohio and Mandy & Gina Gaerke of Centerville, Ohio, two great grandchildren Forrest & Samantha Wannemacher, a sister and her husband Helen & Clete Schmitz of St. Henry, Ohio, a brother and his wife Ivo & Mary Ann Schwieterman of Burkettsville, Ohio, five sisters-in-law, Merdella Schwieterman of Cranberry Prairie, Ohio, Helen Miller of Dayton, Ohio, Margaret Dodds and her husband Mark of Fredericksburg, VA, Evelyn Norton of Chicago, IL and Shirley Wannemacher of Columbus, Ohio and loving goddaughters, godsons and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Nancy Wannemacher, brothers Arnold and his wife Luella, Louis, Matthew and his wife Coletta and Cyril Schwieterman, two sisters Alvera Clericus and Cordula Schmitz and her husband Norbert, two brothers-in-law Ralph Miller and Hilary Wannemacher and a sister-in-law Alberta Calvelage and her husband Harold . She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality of the church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, March 09, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio with Fr. Barry Stechschulte, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater Ohio. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater on Thursday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
