Rita A. Siegrist, age 90, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Friday, February 11, 2011 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. She was born October 07, 1920 in Coldwater, Ohio to Michael & Kathryn (Mescher) Lefeld. On October 05, 1940 she married Ralph Siegrist in Montezuma, Ohio, and he died November 23, 2001. She is survived by two sons, Earl & Marlene Siegrist and Roger & Jean Siegrist, both of Coldwater, Ohio, a son-in-law, Jerry & Vi Pleiman of Vandalia, Ohio, four grandchildren, Scott & Jennifer Pleiman, Shelley & Jeff Zier, Todd Siegrist and Joe & Emily Siegrist, eight great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew, and Lauren Pleiman, Logan, Luke and Jack Zier, Kennley and Grace Siegrist, three sisters, Betty Hess of Brock, Ohio, Ann Hohl of New Carlisle, Ohio and Vera Bolheimer of West Milton, Ohio and a brother-in-law, Fred Topp of St. Henry, Ohio. She is preceded in death byher husband and parents, a daughter, Jeannette Pleiman and siblings, Hilda Topp, Isadore Steinke Sr., Francetta Lefeld, Marie Bryan, Louella Collins, John Steinke and Kay Figel. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at St. Aloysius Church, Carthagena, Ohio, with Fr. Tom Hemm and Fr. Mark Hoying, Con-Celebrants. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Carthagena, Ohio. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater on Monday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
