Rita J. Diller, age 79, of Coldwater OH, died on Friday, August 05, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. She was born May 03, 1932 in St. Marys, Ohio to Edward and Rose (Hemmelgarn) Ruther. On May 29, 1954 she married Donald J. Diller in St. Marys, Ohio, and he died May 01, 2001. Rita is survived by three children Kenneth Diller, Indianapolis, IN, Christine & James Grilliot, Bremen, Ohio, Cathy & Tony Puthoff, Philothea, Ohio, three grandchildren Matthew & Alicia Grilliot, Lancaster, Ohio, Michael Grilliot, Seattle, WA and Angela & Joe Widener, Rossburg, Ohio and three sisters Mary Ellen Harmon, Murphysboro, TN, Kathleen Telljohn, Kenton, Ohio and Virginia Spees, Cridersville, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband, a son Kevin in 1977, her parents, a brother Edward Ruther and seven in laws Rev. Harold Diller, Zeno Diller, Rev. Otto Diller, Walter Diller, Sr. Mary Adela Diller, Adela Diller and Ethel Boeckman. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio, St. Anns Rosary Altar Sodality of the church, St. Cecilia St. John, Coldwater and was a Community Hospital Volunteer for many years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 09, 2011 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio with Fr. Barry Stechschulte, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater Ohio. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater on Monday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
