Richard L. "Beetle" Winner age 69 of 16 N. Hanover St., Minster, Ohio died at 3:45 AM on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Versailles, Health Care. He was born on April 7, 1945 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Clarence & Clara (Borchers) Winner. He married Susan E. Bergman on November 25, 1971 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Newport. She survives in Minster. He is also survived by children Carla & Jeff Boate, Minster, Brian Winner, Minster, Alan & Kim Winner, Minster, 4 grandchildren Hanna, Ella & Josi Boate, Joshua Winner, brothers & sisters Ron & Charyl Winner, Leesburg, FL, Roger "Pete" & Sarah Winner, Tipp City, Jane & Jim Hatfield, Glen Ellyn IL, Judy Winner, Minster, Pat & Mike Gavit, Minster, Greg & Teresa Winner, Minster, brother-in-law Peter Lafalce, Lexington, KY & sister-in-law Mary Ann Winner, Ft. Loramie, mother-in-law Norma Bergman, Russia, Mike & Joan Bergman, Russia, Lester & Candi Bergman, Ft. Loramie, Mary Lou Fullenkamp, Minster. He was preceded in death by sister Pam Lafalce and father-in-law Lester Bergman. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, the Minster American Legion and Celina Moose. He was a Veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam War and he retired in 2008 as a salesman for Bode Finn and worked part time for CarQuest, Minster. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30AM Saturday, May 10, 2014 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will take place with full Military Honors in St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, May 9, 2014 and from 8:30 to 9:00 AM on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
