Richard Paul Watercutter, age 69, of 112 Garman Ave. in Celina, Ohio passed away at 11:35a.m. on Thursday September 19, 2013 at home with his family. He was born on Jan 1, 1944 in Bradford, Ohio to the late Clarence "Casey" & Ellen (Snapp) Watercutter. On June 6, 1964 he married Marilyn A. Weyandt, who lives in Celina. Also surviving is his son & daughter-in-law Arron & Tracy Watercutter of Dayton, daughter & son-in-law Kim & Steve Winans of Celina, special nieces Kelly Powell, Jenny Hoyng, grandchildren Rick & Danielle Winans, Rachel & Jonathan Williams, Quinn & Maeve Watercutter, great grandchildren Nolan, Henry and Helena, several nieces & nephews,brothers Jim & Carol Watercutter of Heath, Ron Watercutter of Sidney, Dave & Joyce Watercutter of Ft. Loramie, Steve & Mary Watercutter of Ft. Loramie, sisters & brothers-in-law Juanita & Ron Gilberg of New Bremen, Patty Sharp of New Bremen, Mother-in-law Virginia Weyandt ofCelina , brother-in-law Ron & Joanne Weyandt of Mendon and his sister-in-law Lois & Mark Snyder of Celina. Richard was preceded in death by his father-in-law Robert Weyandt and sister-in-law Karren Weyandt and his brother-in-law Jon Sharp.
He attended Ft. Laromie High School and retired from Crown Equipment Corporation in New Bremen after 40 years of employment in 2001. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. Richard was a avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan, enjoyed a good card game and was a drag racer for years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday Sept. 23, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Kenneth G. Alt C.PP.S. officiating. Friends may call from 2-6p.m. on Sunday Sept. 22, 2013 and before 10:00a.m. on Monday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
