Richard L. Loughridge, age 81 of 1613 Oxford Dr. in Celina, Ohio passed away at 1:55a.m. on Monday July 28, 2014 at the Celina Manor Nursing Home. He was born on May 18, 1933 in Celina, Ohio to the late Leslie & Ilo (Ford) Loughridge. On Mar. 12, 1955 he married Arolyn Jeanne "Lyn" Mosher, who lives in Celina. Also surviving are his children Vicki & Steve Posada, Steve & Lorrie Loughridge, Bill & Lisa Loughridge and Cindy & Ron Green, 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, brothers & sister-in-law Chuck Miller, Cleo Loughridge all of Celina. He was preceded in death by his brothers & sisters-in-law James Loughridge, Lowell & Lucille Loughridge, Jerry Loughridge & Ruth (Loughridge) Eichenaur, Diane Miller and his sister & brother-in-law Maxine & Maurice "Woody" Woodruff. Richard graduated from Celina High School with the Class of 1951 and received his Associate Degree in Business from Sinclair College in Dayton. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War for two years Stationed at Ft. Devens, Mass. He retired from the Huffy Corporation after 38yrs as a purchasing agent for Huffy's In Celina. Richard was a Life-time member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, the Celina American Legion Post #210 and a member of the Mercer County Elks. A memorial service will be held at 10:30a.m. onThursday July 31, 2014 at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina, with Pastor Matt Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery, with Military Honors. Friends may call from 9:30- 10:30a.m. on Thursday at the Church. The Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
