Richard Dean Huffman, age 67 of Celina, passed away at 1:00a.m. on Wednesday Dec. 18, 2013 at his residence with his family. He was born on April 23, 1946 in Rockford, Ohio to the late Victor Wade & Ruby "Lucille" ( Book) Huffman. On June 19, 1971 he married Nancy Grimm, who died Dec. 17, 1998. Survivors include his daughters & sons-in-law Laurie & Benjamin Jones of Celina, Cindy & Channon Fishbaugh of Celina, 6 grandchildren Kaitlann Jones, Kasyn Fishbaugh, Ethan Jones, Kaleb Fishbaugh, Wyatt Jones, Keaton Fishbaugh, sisters & brothers-in-law Helen & Dean Luginbill and Barb & Bob Schumm both of Rockford. Richard graduated from Rockford High School in 1964. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Richard retired from Reynolds & Reynolds in Celina. He was a member of the Celina American Legion Post #210 and the Celina Moose Lodge. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday Dec. 21, 2013 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens, with Military Honors by the Celina V.F.W. Post #5713 and the Celina American Legion Post #210. Friends may call from 2-8p.m. on Friday Dec. 20, 2013 at the funeral home. American Legion membership services will be held at 7:00p.m.on Friday.
