Rebecca "Becky" Egbert

Rebecca A. Egbert, age 64 of Anna, Ohio, died on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Shelby Skilled Nursing Center, Sidney, Ohio.  She was born on April 8, 1959 in St. Marys, Ohio to the late Norbert & Rita (Gaier) Ripploh.  She is survived by children: Ashley & Jack Copus, Redondo Beach, CA Brian & Blythe Egbert, Anna, Shawn & Rachelle Egbert, Anna 10 grandchildren: Ezra, Brezlyn, Haizley, Cruz, Zaven, Wrenz, Rylan, Kyla, Layla, Wyatt, brothers & sisters: Michael & Susan Ripploh, Minster, Tina Rohrbach, Minster, Judy & Bruno Riboni, Granger, IN.  She was preceded in death her parents and grandson Zion. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, McCartyville, the choir and a graduate of Minster High School. She was a Registered Nurse for Auglaize County Health Department and assistant director of nursing and was a longtime volunteer for Auglaize County Board of Crippled Children & Adults. Becky loved following her grandchildren’s activities, cooking and spending time with friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, McCartyville.  The burial will be at a later date.  Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 4 to 7 PM and on Thursday, January 11 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at SACRED HEART CHURCH.
