Rea Almeda Chapman, age 79, of 361 Center Street, St. Henry, Ohio, passed away at 1:20a.m. on Monday Dec. 17, 2012 at the Gardens at Celina. She was born on June 27, 1933 to the late Verlin & Frances (Cain) Howery in Carpenter, Ohio. On Jan 29, 1955 she married Ralph R. Chapman, her loving husband for 58 years, who survives. Also surviving are her Children Rick & Ginny Chapman of Estero, Fl., Ronda & Stu Kahn of Ft. Wayne, Randi & Tim Pheiffer of Germantown, Robin & Chris May of St. Henry, Regina & Chris Nelms of Spring Valley, Rhett & Chandra Chapman of Germantown, 13 grandchildren, and her brother Rodney & Marilyn Howery of Albany. She was preceded in death by her brother Ray Howery. She graduated from Carpenter High School in 1949. She was an avid Redskins Fan and enjoyed attending her children's and grandchildren's sporting events. A private funeral services will be held at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating.
