Raymond S. Kremer, age 83, of Coldwater, died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at his home. He was born January 18, 1931 in Maria Stein, to the late John D. & Agnes (Menker) Kremer. He married Jeanene M. Vagedes on September 1, 1951 in Coldwater and she survives. He is also survived by ten children, Cynthia Kremer of Coldwater, Timothy & Sue Kremer of Coldwater, Eric Kremer & Viki Kalatzis of France, Gail & Brian Quan of Denver, CO, Jason Kremer of Coldwater, Philip & Linda Kremer of Tipp City, Brad & Marcia Kremer of Tipp City, Brian & Amy Kremer of Coldwater, Janel & Brad Still of Clayton, NC and Jodi Kremer & Kevin Hartzell of Coldwater, a son-in-law John Giere of New Hampshire, a daughter-in-law, Lisa Kremer of Coldwater, 27 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 8 great- grandchildren, a brother Alfred & Martha Kremer of West Lafayette, IN, a sister Emily Minch of Celina and sister-in-law Betty Kremer of Versailles. He is also preceded in death by a daughter Lorraine Kremer, a son Jeffery "Turk" Kremer, siblings Lewis, Ivo and Otto Kremer, Elsie Will and Dorothy Winner, and half siblings Roman, Edward, Lawrence, Neal and Herb Kremer and Clara Balster. Ray took great pride in his family and enjoyed playing cards and bowling. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater Kiwanis and Coldwater American Legion Post 470. He served as a corporal in the US Army during the Korean War. Ray retired as the Village Administrator in Coldwater, he also formerly owned Dairy Queen, Coldwater Bicycle Sales & Service was a part owner of St. Henry Tile Company, he also worked at Pet Milk and DMV License Bureau. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial with military rites will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2 to 8 pm and on Wednesday from 9 to 10 am at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Hospice 230 W.
